A story painted from real life

My daughter loves to draw and paint, and often paints what she can’t quite put into words yet. This is the story that grew out of that — a little girl who discovers that when the world feels grey, she can paint a little magic back into it.

The story

What it's about

One rainy morning, Lina wishes she could paint the sunshine back — and discovers that her favourite paintbrush has a secret. With a shimmer and a swish, she steps into a glowing world of curious creatures and a sky that has forgotten its song.

Joined by a little blue bird, a friendly fox, and a frog with a red umbrella, Lina must use her imagination, courage and heart to bring the music back — and learns that she can always paint a little light into a gloomy day.
